WHAT’S RED DOT?
The prestigious Red Dot design award is recognized globally as one of the most sought after seals of quality for outstanding design. Awards are given for design concept, product design, and brand & communication design.
Started in 1955, the Red Dot awards are now one of the largest design competitions in the world, and features over 18,000 entries from 70 countries which are evaluated by a Red Dot jury once a year. Laureates are featured in the Red Dot museums, the Red Dot Institute and have use of the Red Dot winner label.
Häfele is very proud to have won a Red Dot award for the design of Textile, an extremely tactile pull that mimics woven fabric.
A study in contrasts, Textile is modern and angular, even attaching at an angle, while the patterned woven finish adds warmth and a homey character. Of the three finishes, the stunning polished brass is very dressy, while the matt black and matt champagne finishes are more organic and earthy.
This incredibly versatile pull is found in our Industrial style section, even though the polished brass finish fits right in the Glam style.
Anywhere designers use it, Textile is a winner for remodels or new builds.
